Journal Safar is a sixteen-page bilingual publication in Arabic and English conceived, published and designed by Studio Safar in April 2014. We commissioned six artists to contribute to this pilot issue themed around “Nowruz”, the celebration of spring, and supplemented with a poster. It presents to the reader an eclectic collection of pieces on and around graphic design and in relation to other creative fields we like such as food, film, art, comics, and poetry.
